Glow Like a Pro: My Top 5 Products of Summer 2024 💋

During the summer of 2024 we have seen a wide range of makeup trends. With more people using apps like TikTok to share products they use, many social media users have been influenced to buy these products, and I am no exception. As I was scrolling through my Sephora shopping cart, filled with products I have seen on social media, I got the idea to share my opinions on the 5 best makeup products I have added to my collection in the summer of 2024. I have used all of these products so consider this to be an honest review of the products, including pros and cons!

1. E.L.F. Cosmetics Glow Reviver Lip Oil - $8

This Glow Reviver Lip Oil is one of my favorite lip products! It is a must-have for anyone looking for hydration and shine. This lip oil provides a sheer tint that enhances your natural lip color while delivering hydration to the lips. The formula is non-sticky so it feels very lightweight and comfortable, making it the perfect product on its own for every day wear or as a shiny topper for your favorite lipstick!

Pros: Affordable and accessible / Hydrating lip product / Non-sticky formula / Glossy finish

Cons: May have to apply multiple coats for more pigment

2. Got 2B Glued Brow & Edge Gel - $5.94

The Got 2B Glued Brow & Edge Gel is a game-changer for anyone seeking maximum hold for their brows! As someone with thicker eyebrows, finding a gel that actually holds my eyebrow hairs can be difficult. This product has a strong, long-lasting formula that keeps your brows in place all day without flaking. 

Pros: Easy application / Strong hold / No residue

Cons: Have to style brows quickly due to fast dry time 

3. Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator - $28

As a highlighter lover, this Saie Beauty Illuminator is a great product for anyone seeking a lit-from-within glow! The lightweight formula can act as a highlighter for a natural makeup look or as a skin enhancer to give the bare face a glow. 

Pros: Lightweight / Buildable / Hydrating formula that feels great on the skin

Cons: Sheer Coverage

4. Rhode Pocket Blush - $24

Blush is one of my favorite parts of my makeup routine so when the Rhode Pocket Blush was released I purchased it immediately! The formula is lightweight and easy to blend and after applying you are left with a natural-looking, dewy finish. 

Pros: Compact design / Buildable color / Lightweight formula 

Cons: Shade range does not suit all skin types

5. Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Lengthening Mascara - $9.99

The Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Lengthening Mascara gives the lashes length and volume without clumps. This the brush is flexible and the product itself is waterproof, preventing the mascara from smudging or running.

Pros: Lengthening mascara / Volume / Waterproof mascara

Cons: Waterproof mascara can be more difficult to remove than regular mascara
